How long is a domain name valid?
A domain name is usually registered for one year, but you can extend it for up to 10 years at a time. Once the registration period ends, you must renew the domain to keep ownership. If you don’t, it will eventually become available for others to purchase.

3. Release to Public – If you don’t renew during redemption, the domain becomes available for anyone else to register.
